Low-key not feeling the manhwa post-hiatus because it is not following the novel's plot the way I imagined it would. The dialogue, Chase's personality—everything seems diluted; kept it to the minimum. Excluding and adding certain situations doesn't sit right with me but well there's way more chapter's to come so will see the future developments.
I agree. Chase from here and from the novel don't seem the same, but I think it would be good if they add more story after the epilogue tuesmonamour
Exactly. The snarky and childish personality of Chase isn't reflecting that much in the manhwa so something feels incomplete but yeah, it would be nice if the author add bonus stories after the epilogue!( ̄∇ ̄")
It was like that from the beginning, that they left out things and added some. Chase even looks different, Chase is actually thin, less muscle mass than Josh and smaller than Grayson. But that is actually normal, if something is adapted from novel to manhwa. It's the same with KML, there are also things they left out. And I don't know which fan translation of the novel you read, but some older ones and at least one newer one, are missing parts of the story, too.
They actually need to add the extras after the epilogue, or the story will feel incomplete, too many open questions

Yeah, but I was kind of okay in the beginning. I did kind of overlook many instances, but post-hiatus was when I felt that this was not okay. I paid for the official one; I don't know if that is legit, but anyway, I didn't read the free one because of translation errors. Also, I understand that manhwa cannot be presented 100% like a novel, but the tone and essence of the original novel should be reflected properly. That's how I feel. One good example of that would be 'Rainbow City.' Also yeah, they definitely need to add extra stories because it tells more about Josh's past plus some more important events about the leads.

The legit ones, there are two I think, wordexcerpt which is still incomplete and recently inkfiles?, which is complete. But no idea about the quality. At the moment there are also a few good fan translations. The novel is out for years now, I bought it on google play books in korean and used a translator + fan translations.
When their relationship changes it will be more obvious if Chase's character is really off.

Without reading it again, because it came up often lately: In the last chapter of the main story, during the phone call between Yeonwoon and Josh, Josh mentioned to Yeonwoo that he is pregnant again, complaining that he can't say no to that beautiful face or something like that. There were several thing's, but can't repeat them ( didn't read both for some time) without making sure and checking both novel and manhwa.
I read on novelight but it's paid content. If you want to read for free then you can read it on wordpress. I highly recommend you to read the novel. It's the best

Kml? I think you meant 'Kiss me if you can.' Well, I cannot describe it in words, but once you read the novel, you will get the gist. In my opinion, some instances highlight the lack of inner monologues from Josh, as they convey a lot about his opinions and feelings. The dialogues of the characters seem plain, or, should I say, poor paraphrasing. The author even removed an event where Chase bit off the tongue of a rival actor/model because he was talking badly about him, and he didn't like it (typical crazy Chase). Additionally, the film staff talking about Chase alleged deeds with the dogs was confusing to me because, to my knowledge, this information was not public. Only Chase's psycho brother Grayson and his family(ig, I'm confused here)seem to know it. Josh came to know about this matter through Chase himself or Grayson; I forgot. Please read the novel if you can, because it is so much more intimate and fun! You'll get to know the real, petty, childish, snarky, and obsessive Chase. Plus, the real alpha in this relationship that is Josh, and his blatant simping for Chase is also more evident in the novel. The garden scene at the party and also at Chase's residence was also so much better in the novel.
Agreed, they’ve definitely toned things down from the novel. It’s still good but man I’d rather just go reread the novel again idk. Maybe if I hadn’t of read the novel then this would be really really good (I’ll still be reading this tho, I still love the story)

OMG sameeeee! I thought the same. I'd rather re-read the novel, which I've already done while waiting for the manhwa updates, but I'm tempted to read it again because of how disappointed I am with the kind of progress in each chapter. This wouldn't have affected me if I were simply reading the manhwa. And yeah, I too am still going to stick with this because I love the art plus the story. Best we go with the flow ig
