I just sat down at my desk and saw this was updated after a year and instead of a nice welcome back they made me watch him die?! Crazy work, I’m here for it. Can’t wait for the next chapter in 2026.
I just think it’s crazy that the way Sophia talked about Vanessa, I could’ve swore they were like actual friends who cared about each other despite the servant master relationship. But this revelation just shows that Vanessa didn’t give a fuck about Sophia, not only was she quick to offer her up to the duke to save her own ass, but also how she didn’t even feel like she could have shared that information with Sophia about getting pregnant by an unknown man. Then Sophia essentially tossing her own son aside in favor of a child who has no relation to her OR the duke!
Everyone in this story seems to have some unhealthy obsession with someone to the point where others suffer because of it.
Justice for Rudiger he deserves SO much better honestly.
But this is the one time I actually kinda invested. Mostly because I’m thinking about it in the way that the original Fiona has been given the same chance as our FL Fiona by having the same knowledge that she had when she first arrived if that makes sense. I’m seeing it as a test to see if the original Fiona would be able to achieve what our Fiona has with the same knowledge. But I don’t know if I’m making sense lol.
I keep having to catch myself and remember that this isn’t the normal type of rebirth story where the original husband ignored his wife for some stupid reason. It’s fucked up that Theon was essentially using Dorothy to get closer to her brother and homegirl was unhealthily obsessed in the first timeline so that relationship was just doomed. And now he’s trying to get closer to her (presumably because she “awakened” the spirit powers) but the fact that he’s showing jealousy towards her relationship with Ethan is just weird to me cause Theon and Dorothy don’t have much of a relationship in this timeline so I find it odd that he’s so upset that she’s close with Ethan but there’s also a good chance I’m forgetting something cause I read so many of these things. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Diana has gone out of her way to make her appearance and demeanor similar to whatshisface’s mother but she’s suprised that he’s only viewed her as that this whole time? I mean what did she honestly expect? She never appeared to put her own personality forth or even try to separate herself from the dead mom so it’s obvious he would view her in the same way. And she even knew how the mom ended up dying alone after she gave birth to him so what did she think he was going to do? How did you get a literal guidebook about what not to do and still mess it up.
I was initially pulled in by Callis’ bullshit and I just wanted to see him distraught but they kept me seated with all the ridiculousness and hilarious plot points like Lina being the Virgin Mary and the S&M guy. This story is so unserious at times but I NEED to know how it ends (⌒▽⌒)
Omg so they lied about what the daughter looked like? That’s so crazy who would have guess it, I WONDER WHO THE REAL DAUGHTER IS COUGH COUGH /s
If he isn’t willing to change imperial laws for you, he isn’t worth it.
Not a single neuron is being fired in the emperors head cause why does he think stripping this woman of the title that she only took to get out of her hometown is gonna keep her by his side lol. He’s really not thinking ahead at all because the most likely outcome would be her running to Lionel after she’s dethroned. Why would she go back to you after you continue to do things she doesn’t like. She literally even told him how to capture her heart but man doesn’t listen.
I’m dying no way she’s feeding foreign ambassadors that. I’ve seen toddlers on TikTok eat better, she must want a war cause there is no way she thought this was a good idea.
When do they figure everything out about her parents I’m sick of waiting. I mean it’s obvious who her dad is come on!
I totally get what ya’ll mean when you say Judith should say something like bringing up Margret but tbh that man doesn’t really seem like the type to respond to something like that with understanding. If Judith brought up Margret leaving I feel like that’s just gonna make him go “That’s exactly why I can’t let you leave” he doesn’t think about other people’s feeling only his own. He’s so delusional he’s not even seeing reality as how it is. Just look at how he saw the whole proposal. He sees Judith as a damsel that needs to be protected and can’t make her own decisions. I doubt he even fully understands why Margret even left in the first place.
Why is he bringing up her relationship with her shitty brother now? From what we’ve seen before Seria didn’t care much about Callis’ friendship with him (cause she didn’t know what he did to her in the past). How is he forgetting that the main reason they didn’t get married is because HE WASN’T THERE! She was literally in her wedding dress at the alter STILL WAITING FOR HIM but because he gave in to Lina’s wishes he missed his chance. If he wanted this to work out he should’ve never left in the first place. I know Lina gave him the ultimatum that either he go with her or she goes alone but dude you’re suppose to be her guardian, not her servant. Lock her in the room or something, then take her after the ceremony!
I’m not saying that Liz is doing it on purpose but she HAS to be passively charming everyone around her cause there is no way this girl wrote some paper on destroying the wall and then everyone will be happy and people just agreed with her! I don’t really know why certain characters aren’t affected by the charm though, I would assume the main character isn’t because she’s a reincarnator but I don’t know why some other people aren’t affected like Henry while Alan is affected.
But man I’m hooked and I wanna know what’s gonna happen, anyone got the link for the novel?
In the panel with the chess pieces each character is represented by a different piece like the pink piece (Diana) is the queen, the black piece (Helios) is the king, the white piece (Kael) is the knight. And then we see Hestia’s piece and it’s just a pawn which is one of the weakest pieces on a chess board. I don’t know too much about chess but I still find that interesting and think it gives good insight of what Hestia is currently thinking about her place in this world.
Do you think Anita would still be so hell bent on destroying the imperial family and all that if they didn’t have the power that they currently have? I know she’s pissed off because she was betrayed by the man she loved but would she still be so focused on revenge if during that time while she was asleep the family somehow lost their power and influence within the empire? Or do y’all think it’s only a “you have to suffer because of the sins of your father” kinda thing? I’m just thinking about it because Anita is constantly mentioning how they share the blood of that guy and that’s why they are the target of her revenge but let’s say they were like farmers that were barely scrapping by. Would she still want revenge because of their blood or does power also influence her decision?
I’m only reading this just to read it at this point I’m not invested at all lol. Robelia was already losing me with some of the things she does but that entire conversation with the priest just made me go “why?” And to leave right after the attempt on her life?! She’s not thinking. The only thing I’m glad about is the fact that she said she was going to leave and actually stuck to it. There’s so many stories where the FL says she’ll leave and then doesn’t. And I know the emperor is just gonna find her and drag her back but still it’s a nice change of pace I guess.
