I like it when taboo themes are handled like this, present in horror/psychological stories and are used to portray the dark side of humanity. The incest is a fundamental element of the story, without it, the whole plot doesn't make sense and the events wouldn't occur in the first place. (Kinda spoilers) Jin and Lee grow up twisted because of the toxic environment they were in. And them having a happy ending doesn't mean author is romanticizing incest, we just see them being happy despite the dark circumstances that led the type of love they felt for each other get distorted.
i consider myself someone with a strong stomach, but when i got desperate to know why the fuck juyeon does all of that shit to jiwook and finally read the novel, i couldn't even finish it (i did get to the part where the reason behind all of it gets revealed tho). like, it literally gave me NIGHTMARES. maybe it was bcs i kept reading it before sleeping (i don’t have time during the day so i’m a night reader) BUT STILL the only other piece of media that has ever given me nightmares was naoki urusawa's monster (i had a nightmare about johan bcs he lowkey terrifies me lmao). i really wanted to make it to that chapter with the dog, but i had to drop it bcs it was making me unwell i hope i can at least read the manhwa to the end bcs i really love the artist’s style lol.
okay so i did not read the novel… but when you talk about a dog…surely you dont mean…you know…
Don't worry guys, it has been confirmed that in the manhwa version the "dog scene" will be (thanksgod) switched with a sex machine scene one.. because the novel readers really got upset over the dog scene (totally understable..)
Yes. It’s what you imagined.
Where'd you read the novel???
Link please I'm getting curious now
I hadn’t found any manhwa as hard to stomach as Non Zero Sum… until now (⊙…⊙ )
