Daon really was just dumb the whole book. Sure u can pull the "he was being manipulated" card but halfway through it just got annoying and fustrating. He really is just a dumbass character who has no sense of logic whatsoever ANYWAYSSS the best boy won in the end (he deserves better but it's wtv)
