After reading the recent chapter, it’s becoming obvious that the ML and the purple haired girl haven’t actually slept together. He probably came on to her thinking she was Haeru, then passed out next to her instead of actually doing anything. He also took off his clothes because, like he said, the boiler was on throughout the night. So, I don’t think he was SA’d nor do I think he cheated.
With that being said, his reaction is probably one of the worst things to do. Lying to your gf of 10 years because you’re scared of her reaction is selfish. Then, bothering said-gf after she found out about his lies is also weird. He’s not being considerate of her feelings, and is constantly just worried about what HE has to lose (even if he frames it as him caring for Haeru). He had an opportunity to explain himself when she confronted him, but now anything he says to her will just sound like an excuse. Initially, I felt for him at the start, but not so much anymore. He’s pathetic in a not-so-endearing way.
Honesty is always the best choice even if you don’t get the reaction YOU want. The ML wasnt being considerate or nice by lying to Haeru. It’s dishonest at best and manipulative at worst. By not telling her everything, the ML is controlling her reaction and taking away her autonomy in the situation.
If you read the chapters you would have seen the purple haired girl having a flashback with him calling out Haeru with him being half naked so idk what to say....
I already said in my comment, I’m under the impression that after the ML was taken to the hotel room by the purple haired girl, he took off his clothes because he was feeling hot. Then, in his drunken state, he confused the purple haired girl with Haeru and ATTEMPTED to make a move on her. She then either rejected him or he just finally passed out from the alcohol. It’s a common trope in most manhwa, so that’s why i’m not believing anything until we actually see it
Also, consider the context of the image you’re referring to. He’s yelling at her for texting him at night, and she recalls him calling for Haeru, saying, 'Why is he so embarrassed?' To me, this alludes more to the fact that they didn’t actually sleep together because I don’t think that’s a normal thought for a supposed mistress to have in that situation. I do think it’s a normal thought for a girl who was just rejected by her crush and witnessed how affectionately he calls/treats his girlfriend while he’s drunk (like how we’ve seen in a previous chapter).She doesn’t think he should be embarrassed because from her POV the ML has been nothing but forward with his interest in the Haeru.

No ur right for a long ahh paragraph LMAO - after thinking about it your point does make a lot of sense because once again there isn't a scene of them GOING at it so you can never know. BUT I feel like it would be batshit stupid if that was the reason girlie did what she did to end up in jail bc ON GOD if they just sat down and spoke lmao. It'll be interesting to see where the author goes with it
i’m literally full of theories with how this story will play out because i don’t think she actually killed her bf or the other girl. if anything, she probably got into an altercation with her abusive brother and it got out of hand.
Do you remember where the brother was mentioned anywhere? I don't remember her having a brother But that could make sense - I don't think that she was there for killing or maybe she was framed who knows where this story goes (because I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be a revenge from the desc & first few chapters)
lol he has short appearances in chapter 1 and 12. he’s a douche to put it plainly and physically abusive.
this isn’t supposed to be a feel good, wholesome romance story. i mean just look at the summary, “This is a deeply probing collection of high-stimulation romance short stories titled Moonstruck, exploring how DANGEROUS the emotion of love can sometimes be.” even going off the first couple, they committed double suicide and played around with other people’s relationships on their wedding day while putting them in a hypnosis.
