Her dad might have loved her but he was never there for her not even once( at least according to the chapters we've seen till now) He needs to grovel for forgiveness from her and needs to go through even more pain just like her. I also hope that he sees all her past deaths and bear all the guilt of abandoning her for all the 9 lives.

If at least one person had given them some kind of love as kids they wouldn't have been so messed up. Especially karloi since he had absolutely no one not even his own mother. At least Lilian had her mother so her issues are a little less but karloi was even abandoned by his own parents and the one aunt he had left blamed him a child for the death of her sister. I guess that explains why karloi is so obsessed with Lilian cuz she was the only one who treated him with kindness and helped him when even his mother abandoned him cuz she got pregnant again that would continue the royal family line even if karloi were to be killed by the kidnappers
