Why do people read mangas/hwas/huas where the 'seme' is an asshole, to the point of abuse, r*pe, etc, when the plot and character development is mediocre at best? It's unsatisfying and doesn't make sense for the the abuser and abuse victim to end up in a genuinely happy relationship after some easy apology and sudden character development.
