Funnily enough, he looks just like I imagined him from the novel. What happened to him is quite sad.

He is generally considered to be the most talented martial artist in the entire universe across all races and it's not even close. But due to wanting to live forever at all costs, he becomes the servant of the wandering martial god and is used as some sort of a pawn by both the wandering martial god and JiHan to make them stronger until he died, because the wandering martial god commanded him to kill himself.
To give some context as to how strong he was... He can oneshot grand constellations, he defeated an administrator, and it only took him a few days of training, with both JiHan and the wandering martial god constantly setting him back to do something that JiHan admitted he wouldn't be able to do in a decade.

He goes after them to get their powers. The constellation equipment he has on the fight star is how he carries the power into next regressions.
And elves are fucking weird. They are backed by the Green Administrator, they are after all sorts of evolutionary bonuses from Battle Net and they experiment on other races to make their own stronger. In part 2, they even make male half-elves from humans to produce JiHan's "Blue" stat, which is the natural enemy of the Red Administrator.

She gets what she deserves xD
Though much like most antagonists in the novel, it's a slow process and she manages to run away a bunch of times, before dying. After death, her constellation tries to reclaim her soul, but JiHan extinguishes her soul completely, so that the constellation cannot take back her Gift.

It feels very inconsistent. The part where he just "didn't pay attention" and got caught 3 times in a matter of seconds is just so absurd to me. How am I supposed to see the MC as a strong character if he just randomly doesn't notice an attack coming his way 50% of the time?
And how come the squad captain, who was hyped up to be very strong, is suddenly the weakest member?

Fuck dwarves tho, am i right, novel readers?

they betrayed dicathen during the war between continents not once, but twice, the dwarf king and queen wanted to hand over arthur to the vritras (main antagonists atm) only to be killed by an asura arthur knew, but then the next dwarf representative also betrayed the continent by letting the vritras use the teleportation thingy in their country, as well as ordering his strongest mage to get rid of arthur
So 5 minutes was enough for 2 attacks for someone specialized in speed? Cool...
