Before I reread for the first time in a decade and probably ruin my version of these characters, here’s how I have chosen to see them:
• Sakura’s like, ripped. To me she has punching no jutsu and is ready to throw straight hands at all times. She also outgrows her crush on Sasuke and learns to love him and Naruto as her brothers, who wear her out with all their pining. One of the more balanced characters by the end who puts in a lot of hard work and has a lot of stamina chakra-wise, even if she doesn’t use it for strong attacks most of the time, choosing to use her chakra for healing and her hands for fighting.
• Sai’s funny as hell. Idc what anyone says I love him, and iirc he kind of hates Sasuke. I see him as a bit of a bitch
• Kiba! A character who my brother says only takes Ls but that’s okay, he’s good at tracking and has rugged lower status-charm. I also like his dog traits and have probably played them up in my mind. I also can’t remember if this is canon but I think he’s really in love with Hinata and have been for ages, but is a champ about it who doesn’t take it out on her and wishes her the best. Selfless and loyal in that regard. Doesn’t marry because Hinata might be the love of his life and she’s canonically not for him (even if I think her marriage to Naruto is a bit… Idk. That man’s in love with Sasuke). I’m probably playing it up a bit here for the sake of my high school ship but whatever
• Hinata has a lot of sexual fantasies and I also feel like she reads yaoi. And yuri probably
• Temari keeps Shikamaru in line and he’s careful not to upset her because it’s a hassle to deal with. She probably also rides him because it’s less work for him and she likes to keep him in his place
• Sasuke is a lot less annoying in my mind. He’s also right about a lot of things (or I can see where he’s coming from at least)
• Tsunade wins most of her fights and is a BAMF.
• Naruto has a better haircut by the end.
There are definitely more characters that I have specific feelings about but for now all I’ve got are these ones. Let me know if you have opposing ideas even if you probably won’t change my mind
Kinda wild being on a BL site and seeing people genuinely care about NaruHina and SasuSaku (especially the latter)… No hate but huh??? Also I’m glad that now in 2024/2025 the guy crowd is finally waking up to Naruto’s gay ass. Top 3 yearner of all time
Personally I hated this one, the MC has such a nasty personality and like I get it, you don’t like this guy, but the whole thing about wanting to have power over the uke and to make him submit to humiliate him… It’s not for me. It feels like the uke never ”wins” anything in this and is just kind of made to to along with the seme’s wishes, and like sure, he physically enjoys it and all, but the dynamic really isn’t to my tastes.
Shame because I’m not usually one to turn away a cheesy porno one-shot involving a delinquent character

Hiyori is soooo cute I think it’s so nice to see him fall first and to it so earnestly…… I wonder what Mukai is gonna think of his confession hehe I hope he doesn’t reciprocate right away and rushes it
Y’all are soooooo overdramatic about this one. I thought it was super clear that he would get together with Karam since he never once seemed to get over him or veer in any other direction…. I also llove Junseo but honestly I think it was an ending that made sense and that it’s unfair to treat this series as though it is horrible garbage that isn’t worth reading
BL aside I think a lot of these people need to join a union bc wdym your colleagues can just berate you and call you useless
guys she’s cringey and poorly adjusted to society and lacks tact but she’s not an ”evil, backstabbing bitch” come on… who is she even backstabbing here, she hasn’t met his lover…. she’s super cringe but she’s not evil
no she's not evil, but knowing someone is in a comitted relationship and asking them to cheat on their partner with you is a very disrespectful thing to do
it is, it’s super rude, but some of these comments are acting like she’s voldemort or smth
i get you. some comments just feel like plain misogyny. what she did was rude and truly infuriating, but some comments make it seem like she committed a heinous crime or something.
it’s not even a gap moe ”wow he cleans up well” or ”i guess he’s actually kinda handsome” anymore he’s just a model…. it’s disappointing to me even if the art is still super pretty

sorry but i really don’t like the side couple. their meeting is not romantic at all and while the glasses guy is really handsome i can’t stand his personality, he should at least have the dignity to bottom but i guess not…
they take up so much space and i miss the story we started out with

oh thank god im not the only one oml i thought i was going crazy im all for age gap as well (though im actually not sure of their age differences) theyre also obviously at different stages in life since Mei is a working adult while Sega is still a ukiversity student. Also that one scene where Sega was obviously under the influence while Mei was supposedly 'helping out'... Sega deserves a YEARNER who wants him JUST AS MUCH
