I just love that ur ML currently has no backstory to justify his behavior. He is unapologetically a bad boy, knows what brings in that cash flow to support his boo, and does have 100% in communication dept. by explaining to you that if u have concerns just talk to me. He does this because he knows he does some fucked up shit, and doesn't want you, the MC to be caught up in anything life threatening. Hence why its safer to lounge at home, with no work, worries, etc.
MC, i am more than willing to trade up my single status for ur ML so u can be relived of any future stress.
