Honestly I do love how realistic it is, and how it somehow a mirrors real life. Most of the time, after something traumatic happens to you, you never want to see the person again, and most times you don't. You try to move on and some times you do. I feel like bringing the ex best friend back even for karma retribution would not have worked. Just like they never showed him, Skylar has also forgotten him, moving on from him.
