I generally enjoyed this but I don’t like how the relationship between Waki and his mother, Ukie, was “resolved” in one tv segment. That was years of neglect. I understand being busy and having to work but not spending any time at all with your child, not cooking a single meal, no words of pride, affirmation or affection for your child and not even allowing him to call you mom is too much to resolve so simply. To me she just seems very self centered and selfish. Other than that, it was good. I liked the character development.
