At first I also wanted to drop this story, but with their past exposed, I felt more interested. Both are products of war, both are traumatized, both feel this "attraction" for each other, both would deny it to the death. A more realistic and much less romanticized Romeo and Juliet. I want to see what will happen.

I've never commented on Jinx, but after seeing similar comments several times, I decided to speak up... You know that Doc is not a child, right? That he is a perfect adult who accepted several conditions because he wanted to, right? You also know that Doc thinks a lot, but rarely speaks, and no one in this story can read minds, right? You also know that no one has an obligation to help him, right? No one has an obligation to accept a gift from an employee and prostitute either... You have idea of all this, right? Just to be clear, I'm not defending anyone, but it also sucks to read people who only look at Doc from Doc's point of view and IGNORE the choices he made. Life is not cotton candy and people are not obligated to have the reactions you want. That doesn't make them bad or idiots. It's that simple.(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Why is everyone saying "you're gay too"? He's not gay. He can be bisexual or pansexual, but not gay or straight. Why do you keep acting as if bisexuals and pansexuals don't exist? It's tiring ( ̄へ ̄)

It means it has multiple meanings. Someone who is lesbian(me) could say I’m gay if someone asked cuz it means I love the same as myself(gay umbrella term definition). If a person also doesn’t like specific labels they can also decide to just use the word gay. Trans is also an umbrella term, it’s like a tree. The umbrella term is the tree itself(trans), but all the branches are specific things(genderqueer, non-binary, trans-masc, agender, etc)

I don't know which country you're from, but in mine, gay only means men who have relationships with men. It's not an umbrella term here. Queer would be the umbrella term. That's why I found it strange, in fact, as a pansexual, I find it extremely annoying when people name bisexual and pansexual characters as gay, I really feel like they are ignoring the existence of other sexual orientations. Anyway, my comments, both this and the other, are just rants.

what the hell - -.... And then it's "killing stalking" that glorifies abuse plot - - just no.... hell no - -''''... THIS SHIT glorifies abuse - -

I agree. Killing Stalking obviously has 0 healthy or sane characters, but it pulls everything off beautifully...BECAUSE IT IS AWARE OF WHAT IT IS DOING. This one...idek what it's supposed to make us feel. Is it supposed to make us feel forgiveness? shock? trauma? I felt none of those. Killing Stalking is creepy and thrilling on purpose, but this one actually was even creepier than KS because it treats rape and imprisonment like they're normal or not a big deal.
I think only those who have known depressed people or suffered from extreme depression can understand this character and her actions. She's not acting this way because of the original plot, but because she sees no value in herself. Nix acts like the intrusive thoughts that always lead to the same conclusion: she doesn't deserve to be happy, everyone hates her, the harm that was done is so immense that she doesn't deserve forgiveness. The portrayal of depression in this story is quite accurate, it's a shame that this leads to hatred for the character. After all, the fact that she doesn't recognize people's love for her and/or is afraid of this feeling is misunderstood, but in the real world, it's the same; there are always those who think it's nonsense. Why do you think so many people with this level of depression commit suicide?
I was legit crying for her o(-(
