Koreans count age differently. Not sure, how it is now, cause they changed the law recently, but typically you're already one years old the moment you're born. Then they'll add another year when the new year passes. That means if you were born on 1st August 2024. By 1st January 2025 you're already 2 years old by korean standards even if you're actually 4 months old in western age.
