I think his past has played a major role in him not knowing how to love correctly? For example, he was beaten until his teenage years and was never truly loved by his mother so his idea of love is, you can say, twisted. He wants to be loved even though he doesn’t know what it means but cannot fully give love in return even when he wants to. He’s childhood traumas, im sure, played a major part in the failure of his relationship and past actions. Though, I do think his ex shouldn’t have kept the accident consequences from him. Ting ting needs to learn what his actions had caused (the effects on the little boy) and maybe his development wouldn’t be delayed. I think before ting ting tries to get into a relationship again, he needs to learn to love himself. He’s trying to portray what he’s body looks like into his personality - hence calling himself and ugly person but he’s not necessarily talking about just the outside. I really want to see his personal development. He seems like a sweet person but full of emotional scars.

Spoilers....
Neither his “father” or “brother” are blood related to him. So it really is not incest. There is rape and blood though so drop it now if prefer not to read it.

The older bro's parents are the father and his first wife (who already passed away) I believe. While the uke's parents are the 2nd wife (who is sick atm) and her lover. The uke and the sister are half siblings because they have the same mother. She is also half siblings with the older bro because they have the same father.
Jaewon and Maewha are the best! I don’t hate the second couple but i prefer the main one and the one we started this story with
