fucking the whole family is not a very desirable romance trope. the smuts hot, but the fluff doesn’t hit at all. i’d MUCH rather see a violent toxic version of this than a shabby attempt at an ‘authentic’ relationship with a vampire’s ex-lover’s great grandson. even some confinement, revenge, manipulation.. literally anything but this absolute snoozefest of a romance plot.
in the mc’s shoes, his identity, independence, and free will has been stripped away to just be a vessel for his great grandfathers love and past regrets- it feels more like a possession- frankly, it is. the mc isn’t himself, and the vampire (albeit unknowingly) takes advantage of that. the vampire doesn’t even see mc as himself, just as ‘another blake’. i’d be far happier plot wise if the mc left the vampire and found someone who loves him for who he truly is inside- rather than clinging to the past with a hundreds-of-years-old family fucking slut.

the second i read the first few chapters i knew i hated this. fuck ever having the thought to put myself in the shoes of any of these fucking characters before the first sex scene, immediate take-back.
the only reason i skin through the chapters photos and put myself through that 10 second misery every update is to see this tan dude eventually kill this pasty motherfucker. i don’t give a fuck about whatever he did in the past or what this ‘revenge’ is for, he can just kill himself right after if he has any reason to feel guilty or ashamed. even then i’td be a tragedy, a great fucking story of one at that but just too brutal. if it ended like that it’d sure be a great psychological horror but at the same time an impossible read.
TL;DR: an excessive over-the top unreadable rape-fest with a gorgeous undeserved artstyle in which you hope everyone in this story dies in the end.

anyone who values chastity or romance or- actually forget that, even if you came here to get off, the chemistry is so shit you should skip this one.
the romance dynamic tries to be like “sharpe and rabbit” (you should read btw) if it was fucking awful, and one of the characters in that is a literal paid whore, whom i respected far more than this twink disaster.
the debauchery in question is so potent and inexcusable i doubt it would even get the gooniest of gooners on this site hard, because you’re made to feel like the cuck in the chair, the MC.
ml puts bonnie blue to shame, taking train after train of men.. and women.
mc’s personality is all over the place and barely holding itself together from also being one-dimensional, and somehow boringly psychopathic.
how can you be boring and crazy? this guy found a way.
this webcomic tries to gain your sympathy and fails miserably, it tries to put you in the perspectives of the mc and, debatably, the ml and fails even harder.
as someone who anticipated this to have at least some romance, chemistry- sweet and tender moments followed by raw shocking outbursts of drama and suspense, this shit delivers on none of that and serves you bullshit with a great art style.
stories with actively promiscuous tops/bottoms/switches are generally just not that great 99% of the time but this one gives you a general summary of why the hate of any trope involving it is often deserved.
im not here to slut shame, one of my favorites is sharpe and rabbit after all, i just know its a hard pill for plenty of readers such as myself to swallow when the characters are like.. this. if you want this story done well, read S&R.
