honestly kinda sad that the r@pe scene was basically just an eye opener for some people to realize how toxic she is when she’s been giving A TON of red flags waAAaay before and that she’s always been obsessive and controlling and always took advantage of jaehee
in sulhwa’s case she’s also pretty bad but im pretty sure what she did was closer to assault more than r4p3 and it was also pretty fucked up, people were also hating on jaehee before and it was understandable because of the actions she’s made bUT no one was hating on huilin during that time even though she always crossed the line and kept on clinging onto jaehee even tho she knew she was with sulhwa….. overall a pretty shit story tbh and also why is nobody talking about sulhwa and jaehee’s weird relationship wtf stepsisters and they met when sulhwa was a literal child and jaehee was already pretty old…. all characters are trash except for the nurse with white hair she’s pretty decent (i hope)

Before ch 25 I used to ship Sulhwa and Jaehee, but now after that and rereading a few times, I never understood why Jaehee even had sex with her let alone date her. She mentioned multiple times that she saw Sulhwa as a little sister. I also don't think Sulhwa being hot would've been a reason either. She looks the exact same as when she was 18 but for some reason the way Jaehee perceives her changes. At Sulhwa's graduation, you could clearly tell she had no interest in Sulhwa; but at the start of the series, she somehow is now attracted to Sulhwa? So illogical that she would fuck and date someone she saw as a little sibling since she was about 15, even if it was for the plot.
Also for your point about no one hating Huilin reminds me that, for some reason, this whole website is filled with rapist apologists and victim blamers. Jaehee was clearly drunk in ch 58 but of course she is in the wrong for cheating or whatever other bullshit because god forbid Huilin is at fault for being obsessive/toxic and taking advantage of a drunk woman instead of, I don't know, actually helping her with no ulterior motives?

Finally! someone with the exact same thoughts I had. I also used to like Sulhwa and Jaehee since I didn’t think much of their relationship (the age gap and step sibling stuff) but then i realized how weird their relationship was and all in all just wrong
I agree with everything you said about Huilin. Every time Jaehee is in a clearly miserable/vulnerable state, Huilin takes advantage of her and she also has no boundaries. Sometimes Jaehee is still partly at fault but Huilin is honestly just the root of it all, an ex who obviously can’t accept they’ve broken up and is still obsessed with her ex overall just fking creepy… Huilin stans (the ones who still lOve her) are so disgusting and sick in the head honestly especially those who say “ oh r@p3 scenes are normal, this is so vanilla!” whAt?????

this. i just hate the fact that most of them go like "you found a reason to hate on huilin because of chapter 59" when there are literally tons of reasons to hate her even before chapter 59. jaehee is so vulnerable, so i guess that's one of the reasons why she always gives in to the idea of escaping with huilin. in short, huilin is taking advantage of jaehee's vulnerability the moment they've broken up just to secure a place in her heart every time jaehee tries to open a new relationship with other ppl. that leads to jaehee cheating multiple times. instead of helping jaehee to stand on her own feet, huilin's continuously pushing her below so the girl can depend on her.

most of yall are mad at jaehee for being indecisive but the real villain here is huilin and has always been ever since jaehee and sulhwa’s relationship. As the nurse said, jaehee is very easy to manipulate and has a lot of issues and that’s why huilin always takes advantage of her, an obsessive ex, disrespects boundaries, manipulative & possessive, overall a bad person but you guys deny that since she’s good looking wake up people
