Was so excited to see a side story for the redhead. I thought he was going to get a happy ending too. Instead he gets to live with a rapist. :( red head deserves a better ending.

Yellow hair is absolutely a bully. In Ch 2 he's literally standing with the bully group as the victim is being restrained. after the victim gets punched and vomits, yellow hair goes and says ‘you puked on my shoes’ and never stops the other bullies from the harassment when they make the victim apologize to yellow hair. And the walks away.
I’m only on ch 9 - but i I get the sense this bullying side story is going no where and without yellow hair, MC, bullies, teacher, other student, being held accountable for their behaviour. So I don’t understand why it’s in the story, yet. Topics like this aren’t side stories. They should be handled with though and care. Child abuse too.
Like how as a reader am I supposed to ignore the insane amount of violence that kid at school is going through??? That’s all I’m thinking about as I read this and then get confused why the story is still making be focus on the MC and yellow hair.
Not sure why so many people are glossing over this? Yellow hair is a bully - and a victim of child abuse. Both these statements are truths. But it doesn’t give him a pass.
