This and koimonogatari, both are gems that got abandoned by their respective mangaka for another project that sells better. Sad but understandable in a way, because we all need to put food on the table at the end of the day. But still:(( it saddens me because both are my favorite and i couldn't really get myself to enjoy their other works aside from these two because i'm a petty bitch like that
The mc is black haired psychopath who likes his brother (if i'm not wrong he's a stepbrother). The bro is a red hair who's smile is as bright as the sun. The mc goes into psycho mode when his bro got a gf. But i don't really remember the plot, but i'm pretty sure the mc is dead by the end of the story. The artstyle is great, something like season 1 of lost in the cloud? I think? I remember the cover got snowy background too
This was my first bl manga ever. I read it about 8 or 9 years ago and i'm glad that this is how i got introduced into the genre. The story is light, the characters are likeable, and i love the dynamic between them. It'd be great if there's a sequel to this, but one can only hope
This is super light and got healthy relationship in it. I like it
And tbh it's not as disturbing as some people make it to be. Like it could've been worse you know, and the sergeant definitely deserved it.
They're gonna end up together. Trust me, i'm paskim's pen.
But for real tho, with how the plot and the characters has been developed until this point, making them going separate ways would be a total waste. I'm not against it when a pair doesn't end up together, i'm sure loving it when it's done right. But there are certain criteria that must be met so that such an ending can still be satisfying. And litc is nowhere near it. Not when both of the characters haven't even completed their own character development nor they reach any closure on their relationship.
So, yeah that's my two cents. Don't come at me if you want that ending just out of spite because you hate one of the characters. Because what's the point on reading the story anyway?
Reading the last chapter with die with a smile in the background goes really hard i'm sobbing my eyes out
Okay gang, here's my thoughts after reading the latest chapter in raw. I think both of them having it rough when the talk(fight) happened. Cirrus with candy deteriorating health and him having to confront the consequence of their fight in front of the convenience store while also hiding it from skylar for his sake. Skylar with the amount of informations he got from dongshit and chanil that indicates how manipulative cirrus was and the possibility that cirrus' feelings are never real from the start, while dongshit might reveal their relationship out anytime.
Cirrus struggles with anxiety and fear of abandonment. The thought of losing both candy and skylar haunted him, and now one of them seems to get realer than the other (thank god candy's doing okay for now). While skylar struggles with trust and fear of being betrayed by the one he loves (aside of his fear of being outted but that's for another topic).
Skylar did give cirrus a benefit of doubt. He even said he's the one who knows cirrus best, that even though it's all turned out to be true he wants to hear it from cirrus himself. But cirrus lied out of fear of losing him when the topic brought up, without knowing that it'll backfires.
Had cirrus honest when skylar asked him, it won't be this bad. Yeah it won't justify what he's done in the past, but it shows his regrets and willingness to ask for forgiveness. So skylar thought that if the feelings are true cirrus sure will be honest with him right? He gotta regret what he's done right? But noooo he just gotta lie with a straight face as if it was nothing. So even after all those tears and sorrys dropped nothing changes because the trust has been broken.
Bet they both felt a huge amount of pain. And we all know how skylar's always responded when someone inflict pain on him, it's to inflict the same or even deeper cut onto them. It's one of his flaw that we all can criticize without hating on him because afterall they're just an 18 y.o teenagers with bunch of traumas and painful childhood.
I have faith that skylar'll regret it later. It'll be a great character development for him. But as of now i think they both needs time away from each other. I also have a faith that chanil might take a step to reach cirrus out first to fix their misunderstanding and hopefully that'll also indirectly help skyrus fix their relationship. Sooner or later skylar will also get to know about the situation cirrus hid from him and maybe that'll make him realize that the feelings are indeed real. And when they get back together they'll beat tf out of dongshit once and for all. Trust guys. Trust.
That's all i have to say, sorry for the bad grammar i just want to vent my thoughts somewhere and it just to be here. Pls bear with me. Thank you
Yeah, this webtoon won't be continued. And there's some extras after the last chapter, sadly it seems like it hasn't updated here. But i have finished the novel and if you're interested in the story i think you should go check out the novel! It's really great! My last year best read actually. I love wuyu so much you don't understand, he's practically my son. The story of him and bu chonghua still got a long way to go, hell the webtoon haven't even covered half of it. So yeah, go read the novel! The author is great at writing her story, the translation is readable, and the story will engage you through the very last chapter. Trust me, read the novel!! (。•ᴗ-)✧
