Inseo’s childishness was funny in the main story. After seeing how insidiously Tak and the boss fuck behaved I realized that the creator was very aware of the characters actions being abusive and toxic. Theres no ‘improvement’, they remain like that. It feels weird to read something that sexualized/ depicts abusive actions as hot. Being that cognizant of abusive behaviour and how it negatively impacts people and still sexifying it is a… choice.

With how Tak and the boss acted, it’s completely coloured/soured my perception of this story. Now inseo’s weird possessiveness and desire to keep yihyeok at home isn’t quirky, it comes across exactly as it is: toxic, and a tactic used by abusive partners to isolate their significant other. People will say ‘well these are positive traits if the person will never abuse (physically) their partner like inseo bc he loves yihyeok that much’, but IMO making sure that you are your partners world and crying/losing your shit if they step away from you is just…. A bad relationship dynamic. Dude cries like a man child all the time, even when they fight. Bro is already manipulating through tears, and expects sex constantly, even when yihyeok doesn’t want it. He follows yihyeok to coworker outings, gym… there’s literally no space between them ever. What the fuck. Yihyeok no longer talks to even his close friends Sanho and Tak. Weird as fuck.

I was hoping that the writing for ‘your wish is my command’ was a one of, but I now see that it was deliberate. Safe to say any goodwill I had towards sagold due to ‘make me bark’ has withered.
