Maybe it’s because I’m also playing WH40K Rogue Trader rn now but it really irks me that nobility and aristocracy view serfs and ordinary humans as expendable. It fucking sucks man. And it sucks because it is a historic fact. I hate people whose lives are build upon the labour and sacrifice of ‘small folk’ looking down upon them. (Talking about the game I’m playing) The most famous romance option is cassia and she says this extremely stupid shit once (paraphrased) ‘how dare these soldiers attack nobles, when nobles for generations have so dutifully served to govern them and ensure their wellbeing’. I can’t take anyone fictional or real who believes shit like this seriously.
