The setting is built in a sweet spot where its already established but not too much. Like theres still room for development. They are just recounting their past but theyre already together which saves us from the angst but the real problem is yet to be solved.
Some stories will show you the ending first then tells you the past... This one is set in the middle, tells you the past but still progress as the story goes on... Its just good lol its tickling my brain.(づ￣ ³￣)づ

The story telling is kinda confusing... There's like mix of present and past every chapter so its hard to get into especially when i was mostly looking forward to them meeting again... It just felt really slow ... I kinda hoped they met on the first chapters then just tell the past along the way because lets be for real... The plot hasn't moved at all... They have yet to meet!!! They are just telling their past while setting up the context in the present.
Honestly... The uke is pretty realistic and i fuq with that. He knew that their world is just different and i know theres misunderstanding but he knew where he stands and made a reasonable decision because ngl if i were in his shoes id do the same
Im not gonna lie this feels..... Cute.. Its giving the same vibes of that omegaverse titled cozy obsession... Its trying to be dark but its funny so its balanced, i want to keep it that way. i just like how its toxic and dark but the comedic bits kinda makes it bearable and enjoyable..... I say all this because i think that theres not much of an issue between the protagonists... The uke is obsessed the seme is also obsessed but is trying to move on... The uke has a past so... IDK I FEEL LIKE THIS IS GONNA BE CUTE AND I LIKE THE VIBES AS OF NOW
Honestly... The plot of the side story is kinda weird... He doesnt know wether betas can get pregnant or not and proceeds to think that the uke is pregnant even though the uke stated that its impossible since he's beta??? Its weird but maybe its just me
Am i tripping or the translation is weird..... Especially on the earlier chapters?? Some phrases are weirdly translated so it stumped me from time to time...still good though...

Okayyy at first i felt really bad that i was about to drop the story... Then they mentioned epidemic or something so im wondering if its apocalyptic/ post apocalyptic setting because it affects on how i feel about it.....
To further explain my reasoning. I guess if the story being in an apocalyptic setting makes it much more fiction. Apocalyptic= chaotic government= no solid rules and such....whereas if the story is in a normal setting then its closer to reality hence i would feel fucking bad for the uke.
Its like you got tortured for smuggling drugs in a lawless chaotic environment and because the drug is very very important VS you got tortured for smuggling drugs in a tuesday night...(￣∇￣")
This is one of the few manhwas that has a good pacing... Maybe because my expectations are solely based on this story alone and there's not much angst to begin with so i just expect everything to be slice of life -y (づ￣ ³￣)づ
