Firstly, the “issue” with Touma(the seme) being too pushy with pursuing Kyousuke(the uke), honestly people who think that either didnt read it properly or tried to make something like a five chapter manga even simpler because it’s stated that this is Touma’s first love in all of his twenty-three years of living, PLUS THERES A WHOLE CHAPTER DEDICATED TO THE FACT THAT HE ALWAYS PUTS OTHERS NEEDS BEFORE HIS OWN HIM DECIDING TO LOVE IS HIS FIRST TIME BEING “SELFISH”. Secondly, Kyousuke wasn’t just rejecting Touma multiple times for no reason or the fact that he isn’t his type THE AUTHOR LITERALLY SHOWS US A BIT OF KYOUSUKE’S BACKSTORY AND THAT GROWING UP WITH NO FATHER FIGURE IN HIS LIFE AFFECTED HIS FUTURE RELATIONSHIPS that’s also the reason why he has a hard time talking about how he really feels for Touma and why he had a hard time trusting Touma. LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST, just because the plot is cliche doesn’t make it bad, it’s because of the way the author wrote it that makes it special(for me at least); ending it off with a bang(like they did)
