i think, as a queer girl, it's just nice to see queer relationships portrayed so positively (for stories that are more innocent obv LOL). i also do like that they show that men can experience feelings that people can consider "girlish". like...breaking them out of the stereotype of tough, emotionless guys who can't experience something like having ......
