the mother being sent to a convent is neither here nor there, as the main evil is her father - the one that now gets to raise the same poor boy.
& the MC just brushing this news off like nothing, saying the only thing she needs to do is to make sure Antonio never becomes emperor, is rather demoralizing.
as we KNOW that, that disgusting grand-father will abuse his grandson as he did his daughter & there's no one that will save the boy - who will eventually turn into a twisted bad-guy. one that could've been saved, if the MC had a bit of compassion in her, even a little - this the only thing that mattered to me in this chapter. after that i didn't give a damn that she cried or that the other 3 left etc...
this let me down so much #－.－)
