Is it just me or do you also think that there's smt off about the story telling? It's as if the scenes were a bit lacking and rushed before they proceed to another. I like the art, the concept and the vibe of he characters but in terms of universe building I kind of don't feel the story.
my guess is that it’s an unreliable narrator, and there are bits of the story and characters that will be revealed later down the line to give another perspective
imo it's because there's no conflict. we don't have an end game goal for either of the characters. a lot of what we've seen so far has been tension and build up... i think the main plot of the story just hasn't happened yet
OMG you're right. It's because we can't predict what will happen. I might have overlooked it, but there's no obvious foreshadowing so far (besides the forgetting the bad memories thingy).
Compared to other heavily plotted manhwa I feel like they're trying to hint the traumatic back story of the characters in very minimal way. But honestly I wish they would make the scenes longer and show more about the actual situation of the town. I want too see the mc being challenged, so he can eventually prove his worth. The ml too, he definitely suffered from the past. I also think that maybe he ain't one of us based on how he's not familiar with social conventions.
100% agree. maybe it's because of the weekly updates but i feel like the maggots, the memory loss, and jinwoo's homicidal intent have been completely forgotten lmao. i'm glad we're getting lots of juicy time with guwon and jinwoo but i would like to get back to the plot soon!
