Honestly, I think the dad did care for him even tho he was an omega. I think the king sent him to hanu cause he knew they would treat him well there. Sense omegas there are respected, vs sending him off to neighboring countries where they could harm and treat him horribly. So when the king saw him when he woke up and said “you shouldn’t be here go back” or whatever he said. He knew that he wasn’t safe. idk that’s just the vibe it came off as. (⌒▽⌒)
