Like this whole mess started because Derrick was being an asshole and mocking Andrew in a nasty manner which made Luke snap and physically assault Derrick (sth that mf could have pressed charges on Luke or worse, for had Andrew not been involved let's be fr). Andrew dealt with that issue and maybe he should have been upfront about it, but Andrew was a victim of stalking, harassment and bullying (that shit they did to his locker that made him quit swimming) and has a very methodological, precise and effective way of dealing with issues.

Now Bruno has repeatedly done Luke dirty and I get that Luke feels guilty because he thinks it's his fault the team lost the funds/sets given by Derrick but I hope he realizes he's also being a bit hypocritical here. Him going full on rage mode on Derrick to protect Andrew's honor and jumping the gun without addressing things first with Andrew because he cares for him and does not want him hurt (not criticizing Luke's actions here, just saying) is the exact same thing he's mad at Andrew for doing. I feel like he should ask why Andrew was doing this and why Andrew did not tell him (That's what I'd ask personally) instead of making it about good people can also fuck up.

This naive way of going oh good people can fuck up is all good and dandy but regardless of whether they fucked up or not he should realize that there should be consequences to that shit especially if it's the kind of shit that's been making Luke miserable lately (i.e all the script changes and the building tensions with Andrew)

But anyways I hope that since Luke is so gung-ho on forgiving and giving second chances to Bruno, who's a senior screenwriter and not one of Luke's close friends, a who he has known for about the same time he's known Andrew (if not less), that he would be open to hearing Andrew talk about his reasoning and extend that same mentality of forgiveness to Andrew ( even tho I personally would find it hot af if my bf was having my back and dealing with nasty shit in my life even if he doesn't talk to me about it cuz I hate confrontation and bad vibes lol)

this feels so real and honestly I feel like reflects a lot of the insecurities of both a first relationship ( mostly for Andrew) and a queer relationship (for both but i feel also a lot more for Luke). No one in the theater department/Luke's department would realistically have that much of an issue with queerness considering it's a theater department in the 2020s in the US but like people have mentioned it's not about that it's about them not wanting to be scrutinized and shit and also the future of Luke's career :/ I love the tidbits of them being in love and stealing away moments to just be in love.

One great thing about Nerd project now too is that it's back to the humor of the early chapters which I really missed for a while. Anyways can't wait for more and I hope we get like two more seasons cuz im a greedy bitch (and i won't mind any angst too ngl)

beautiful writing, beautiful chemistry between the leads, amazing exposure, insanely good art, perfectly flawed and appealing main characters it's just so fucking good

moontime created a topic of Nerd Project

this is such a legit thing to feel as a queer person you can be as self accepting and okay with who you are and you're in love with/dating but being pubic with it takes an insane amount level of courage and all those of us who are out can attest to how daunting it can be at first and even years/months later.

Also factoring in the fact that Luke wants to be an actor and Andrew probably is considering that as well when taking his distance, it's just so heartbreaking but good like ugh. This is such a great way to add angst to the story without feeling manufactured or excessive it feels raw and real and I love this story even more gosh.

Minchan finally let it all out and Bihwan nailing so many of his insecurities cuz they're similar in that way my god the level of excellent writing? Far too much. Like this is why I cannot even look at the raws with this manhwa cuz my dumbass can't read Korean and this is not a"lemme just see the art" manga. This shit is deep and the dialogue hits hard. It does not feel real seriously its so good god I love well written BLs and I love my two babies and I love that Mimchan is finally letting his guard down a bit

how tf did i just stumble upon this now?? tho im glad to got to go through all chapters at once cuz i don't think I could have done week to week every chapter left me wanting me more. fuck this is sooo peak i adore tops who simp for their bottoms and idk despite his faults i still was rooting all the way for Mokyeon like I get why he was so into Nanjo tho I wish he'd recorded his twink friend talking shit and sent it to Nanjo from some random account to get that evil twink's hold on Nanjo broken off sooner (tho it might have backfired) anyways this shit is peak and I can't wait to read it again

plot really picked up, I still feel like a lot of it could have been removed as it was just filler but my god especially yoogon's past being revealed this all feels like so much fucking violence begets violence it's so sad :/

Luke is such a good fucking person and an even more amazing boyfriend/partner he so deserves someone like Andrew who worships the ground he walks on and Andrew deserves someone super loving and sweet in his life. I can't wait for Luke to be fully out and proud (though I hate the fact mf Derek is probably gonna out them) so that him and Andrew can be together officially like I just need so many chapters of them just doing slice of life shit idfc the art and their personalities and the writing make them so fucking compelling as a couple and I could read about them doing dishes for a whole chapter idfc

the way this had actual top tier sexual tension build up and a cool plot and we could have had them being genuinely attracted to each other and having hate sex whenever they piss each other off instead of actual grape we lost so bad :/

Brace yourselves for a long one folks cuz I gotta a lot on my mind hhh but first just wanna say this manhwa just stays being 10/10 my god. Muyeol is just such a great antagonist, and it was amazing seeing it being exposed and that Bihwan was quick witted and smart enough to see through his bullshit.

Now let me put my thinking hat and see if I can make sense of this.

Seoho's sould is supposedly fractured like a tea cup (idk if i was the only one who was reminded of Hannibal and Will and the teacup lol) and is probably not all in one place, Muyeol wants to put it back together in order to save Seoho who had sacrificed himself to save Bihwan, this would mean that the sealing on Bihwan was for his own good and not a betrayal from Seoho. These are facts that may or may not be the full truth depending on how genuine Muyeol is being.

Now Muyeol spent years mourning Seoho and probably gathering whatever fractured pieces of his sould he could find, for the purpose of putting it back together. Then in the 2000s he comes across this boy who looks exactly like Seoho (minchan) and here he either already found him post accident or actually caused the accident that killed his parents.

Now here there are two possibilities (maybe more) in my head now, either Minchan was dead after the accident and so was just an empty vessel that Muyeol decided to safekeep and put Seoho's fractured souls into, which would explain why Bihwan recognized Minchan's sould as that of Seoho. Or somehow Minchan's soul absorbed Seoho's fractured soul and became both Minchan and Seoho's souls mixed together. In any case the reason Minchan has so much positive energy life energy is probably due to whatever Muyeol did that would keep him always self healing but the negative effect is that it's too much for his body to handle so he needs the negative energy from ghosts/Bihwan in order to stabilize.

Finally this brings us to the reason why Muyeol (aka Gwonryeom) asked Minchan to release Bihwan: now here there's a lot of motives ofc, my first thought is that releasing Bihwan means whatever curse was put on Seoho would be lifted (maybe reversing his blasphemous actions of using that cursed object) and was an integral part of getting Seoho back.

But yeah this long ass comment was just sth i needed to get out my chest I love this manhwa so much and I've never been this invested in the plot of one lol.

moontime created a topic of Dreaming of the Dokkaebi

the complexity of this manhwa's plot and just how intricate never ceases to amaze me. Love seeing Seoho for the first time and how he's basically the opposite of Minchan in a lot of behavior lol.

I also love the depth of feelings and three dimensionality of the characters like Bihwan is obviously still in love with seoho too i mean he's had feelings for him for 1000+ years of course that shit is not going away in a couple of months/weeks though it's also clear he's falling for Minchan and recognizing him as his own person (and im pretty sure Minchan's coldness towards Bihwan is also starting to thwart a bit and he's starting to genuinely care for him. I have some theories about the sealing of Bihwan and Seoho's betrayal as well considering the recent devolpments but I will keep it to myself till we got some more info lol.

moontime created a topic of Nerd Project

god i cannot wait to get the urge to re read this from the start again and get to this part again on a full read like this manhwa is just so fucking good. They're so perfect for each other cuz Luke puts his all into his partners (as seen with stacy where he'd go to her studio to take pics of her cuz she asked) amd Andrew is a full on simp who literally fell in love hard with Luke and is rational and level headed enough to be introspective and see his own flaws and his immense love for luke it's just so good. The way there's plenty of ground laid for drama too (with the taylors and Andrew's dad) that hopefully the author chooses to make them face together as a unit.

What a terrible (but also great) way to end the season fuck me. Like everything about this is just so nuanced and hard hitting and like fuck that situation is insane and to see how Brett basically went full self defense after thinking back to the moment his brother rejected his "gift" was so heartbreaking. Like it's obvious Brett does not have full range of emotions (I don't think i'd go so far as to call him a sociopath tho) and he's just preemptively dealing with the fallout/hurt he feels is imminent. Hayden's chock and emotions especially in the moment are definitely understandable too and I can't wait to see how they will bridge out this issue god i love them so much

letting this marinate and coming back to a whole stack of decensored chapters oh i see the author is staying true to their sexy ass smut love to see it
