This story assumes the readers are smart enough to understand what we see, which is honestly a rare thing, these days. Not every word needs to be explained, the imagery allows us to interpret and perceive, while language invokes emotion, and overall progresses the story forward. Both the writing and art are spectacular. The characters, the world, the art unfolds into a beautiful story. Far more daring & charming, by miles, than the anime by the same name. The anime takes place before this story.
