I think he just tested out his jinx with sleeping with people and before any labels he slept with both male and female. Though ultimately he was more comfortable with sleeping with guys. Which makes sense how after his first hookup presumably a female which he uses a condom. Then he goes on with many other men which we see in many other shots. Thus, he later realises his preference for men rather than women. It isn’t a bi experience—it’s him testing his sexuality in general. Because in real life too, there’s quite a lot of queer people who are with the opposite sex until they realise they’re gay/lesbian. Jaekyung knows atp what he wants in a partner and obviously became a regular in the gay club where he’s made an extensive amount of connections like Choi Heesung and that one doctor who diagnoses Kim Dan. IMO, seeing the dialogue of JK he sounds like a typical DL (down low gay) which is actually really common anywhere tbh and in Korea. Plus he’d probably grossed out if he gets called gay so I think that’s why they added that he didn’t care if it was M/F. Rather his personality and internalised homophobia won’t let him lmao, high key wished the author would’ve explored this more but I doubt it.
I’m currently on chapter 5 and I know that this story has started the ick where the MC is already established, and he has a bf. I don’t know it’s making me kinda mad.
10/10 perfect drama suspense and a MC that’s capable and consistent to the very end! I wish there were side stories tbh.
If you want two other recommendations: Get out of My House and Ghostly Connection (both sort of the same story except one is actually scary). I would give honor mention to ghost gate that is currently ongoing.

Ghost gate, if the scary art doesn't take you out, trying to figure out what's going on will give you an aneurysm.
Yeah this was all kinda forced tbh. I honestly wish the author just made them sex partners and let the MC be with the childhood friend and develop their story instead.

And in the early chapters there was mess ups in the earrings staying consistent. Though I definitely think for second season author could do a bit better keeping track of them. I still was bamboozled in the end not realising the twin scenario until reading the dialogue…
