So for those who have read the extras, do you remember that other Duke and his cat? I just found out that they have their own story!! It's on kakao and I haven't found any translations for it unfortunately. I wish we had more of Yuri and the cat bonding! I mean they both came from the present to this fantasy world. Anyways, if anyone finds a translation for it please, LET ME KNOW! The intro summary for the story is so funny I need to read it!

This is a question for those who have read the whole novel.
Okay so I've read some of the novel and I stopped because I was confused on one of the plot points. When the Duke forgets his feelings for Ennid, do they come back? Like I know he falls back in love, but do those original feeling ever come back? I just feel like it's such a let down if he never remembers because we spent so long seeing these feeling blossom only for them to go away and be forgotten. It's just not the same if he can't remember them.

Why would you drop just because someone else didn't like something about the story? Just read and determine for yourself? Yes he lost his memory but lets not forget his actions were because he was trying to save Einnid, he made a deal that cost him his memories and above all it is implied they're soulmates, so even without his memories he still has feelings for Ennid

Well, I dropped it cause it personally bothered me, but I couldn't tell you if you should. I did read the ending though and it wasn't bad, except for being a bit rushed. I don't want to spoil much. Also like the person above me said, the Duke did do it all for Ennid, however technically he didn't really know the whole risk cause it was only gonna happen in certain conditions and it only ended up happening because they were attacked. One of the core reasons they used this trope was to eliminate the constant suspicions that the Duke has for Ennid. Now personally, I thought that they should have done that using the technique that the Duke used that caused what happened, but I digress. Point is, I felt unfulfilled by the point I was reading and felt like it wasn't gonna get resolved in a way that would satisfy me. And just for reference, the Duke does keep his memories, it's just he can't remember the feelings he had. So whether you continue or not is solely based on whether this is a trope that you think you can handle. Cause like I said I'm like 80% sure that he ends up not remembering, but that's from me skipping about after and it saying he still didn't or that he regrets not being able to remember.

Just a warning it is MTL

Also if you do read it all please answer my question when you are done!

Nooo. Why so soon. We didn't get to see so many scenes yet.
What about the car sex? Or when the boss finds out they did it in the store? Or when Shin's dad tries to ruin their relationship by telling Yeonwoo's dad? There is so much we won't get to see. (T^T) Oh and when Yeonwoo meets Shin's friends! So much man. And now I have to wait for the official novel translation to read those parts. This is a spoiler for anyone curious about what happens to the hyung that betrayed Heeseong. By the way, I'm using HS for Heeseong, CY for Chi-young, and GT for Geon-tae.
Basically, CY locates GT in an abandoned warehouse and HS and CY go to find him. HS finds his hiding spot behind some planks of wood in a closet or something and sets up a chair and tells CY to sit and watch. HS finds an axe and breaks the planks revealing GT who is on all fours and looks like a beggar. GT then clings to HS's leg and tries to convince him to have mercy by saying that CY is just using him and that he'll be abandoned and that GT was the one who saved him. One of the funniest parts of this is when GT says that CY will abandon HS because of HS's shitty attitude and HS says that CY has a fetish for that. Anyways, HS picks the axe back up and GT gets really scared. HS then talks about how much GT has abused him in the five years they were together, but admits that GT did save him and therefore he'd save GT. He tells him to live a quiet life like a bug and kicks GT's ankle, breaking it. GT faints due to the pain and HS then goes to get the money that GT had stashed. It was in a briefcase that HS easily guesses the password to. CY is suprised and asked how he knew and HS tells him that it was GT's first love's birthday. Honestly, this part made me hate GT even more because when GT is being asked by CY about HS's birthday, he admits that he doesn't know it but HS always remembered to celebrate his. So, the fact that HS not only remembered and celebrated GT's birthday, but also knew how much GT's first love meant to him and knew her birthday, yet GT couldn't even remember HS's birthday is so messed up. Anyways, HS opens it and hands some papers to CY but CY was thinking about how sexy HS looked and he pushes HS to a table in the room and they have sex, WHILE, GT is unconscious in the same room.
Lmao what did I just read
