there was no point to this. any message it was trying to send was overridden by the awful oversexualization of the actual rape. it doesn’t feel at all like they were trying to really depict rape as a violent crime that can traumatize someone for the rest of their life, but a violent rape fantasy. the bullying survey response ending felt more out of place and mocking to me because of it. but if people can still pull a good message from this then i’m glad for that. shit like this is my worst fear and it has all but taken over regular ass bl and treated like either an act of romantic passion or just unimportant.
