Tbh its not random.. its the much needed confrontation thats been building up all thru s2 all these years and also canonical lore accurate too. For horuseth to reach their happy forevermore they have to face these. Horus was wrong for hiding stuff n also hes immature n hot headed in his love altho his love is the purest while Seth's personality has been warped n completely destroyed by osiris who riddled him with sooo much insecurities n issues that must be addressed if he has to get a happy ending with horus or accept his love n reciprocate it properly. Dont worry. Have faith in horuseth. Future chapters wont disappoint u. We are getting towards really intense stuff upcoming

I want to hold on but ngl this is getting exhausting. They go on such long journeys to solve little problems and we finally get to see them connect but then some random plot point the audience has already forgotten at this point is the next thing to shatter their trust in each other once again. My problem isn’t that that happens, it’s that it KEEPS HAPPENING. Like one confrontation would be great, meanwhile they keep getting close then breaking apart then getting close then breaking apart. It’s making me spiral into a mental breakdown istg. We’re over 200 chapters in and it still feels like we don’t even have all the main plot in view yet

I totally understand and get what u mean. We get 3 chapters per month and English tl is even slower than taht so its natural readers will forget plot purpose and the small but imp stuff here n there. I was on the verge of dropping this until someone motivated me n I locked in and re read everything. To be fair if u re read you'll see even tho horus has been loving seth all his lifr seth only recently opened up to horus n fell for him which is huge considering all the amount of shit hes gone thru by osiris. Having your entire reality turn upside down, finding out your entire existence is thanks to someones twisted insane obession and all the insecurities osiris pumped seth with and all the meddling tempering he did with seths mental sanity + botched ascession+ puppet orchestrated arrange marriage by osiris... its a huge thing for him to even fall for horus let alone be warm to anyone. But all their interactions when love became mutual was wholesome n we could see bits of Seth's true self show up. But all this time the things horus hid and their inevitable reveal was looming over like a ticking time bomb. Seth n neph were happy even if their marriage was sham n fake from start and their parting was rushed n without any final words. They also had a quagmire of misunderstandings to clear so this reveal was much needed n due anyway. Its only now that we are past it can we finally breathe in relief n look forward to horuseth future development which i swear to u are happening in next few chapters. The big plot view u mentioned you'll see it unfold in next few chapters. (I can spoil if u wish) osiris stage is set and the big showdown is hopefully upon us in the 19th sept raw chapter if not a showdown then atleast we will be enlightened on their elusive past life that has been a strong presence all these time. Past life theories abt horus being their 6th sibling n osiris having a hand in his murder or horuseth being lovers/super close past life.. all these will be revealed soon. This is gonna have s3 too where rnnead will probably end. So just hold out a bit longer fam

Yes same , this was one of my first reads and I remember crying when I finished it but now I can’t love it like I used to
