Actually when it was still not updated you can upload at that time but the process was a little long and a bit complicated unlike now that you upload the pics directly in the site and you can edit it and it uploads immediately
I know cuz I upload chapters before but now I only update sometimes, I've been busy with school
it was always like that, they just added the feature to simplify it
