I think the whole point of Jaekyung’s behavior is that he actually doesn’t love himself—he treats Kim Dan the same way he would treat himself, without empathy. Even though I was a huge hater until this chapter, something changed in my perspective because I realized that Jaekyung was never obligated to be good to Kim Dan.He was always a piece of shit. From the very beginning, we knew what kind of person he was. The bigger issue is that Kim Dan ended up liking him despite that, because how broken he was. After this chapter, I definitely see that Mingwa intended to create Jaekyung as someone who doesn’t feel love for anyone, and I’m honestly curious to see how he’ll treat Kim Dan when he actually realises that he fell for him.
