i wish i got to see more struggle with haewon? it felt like everything was handed to her with the way the story was paced. her sword training was not shown, how she endured the million poison elixir was only briefly illustrated, even her conversation with the jade emperor was cut short. i kinda wanted to see more of her internal battles, but the story was too centered on the plot of the book and not much on haewon's character which is a shame as i wanted to see more of that. still, a good read!
