I think I was so fixated on the fact that they would be two psychopaths in love that it made me not like the story as much yes I feel like Alex should have stayed alive but the stuff he said to Alex at the end was sad yes Alex murdered people but clerk was Alex just no matter it showed how easy clerk can manipulate the whole story sorry if it doesn’t make sense
