I'm not sure about your tastes, but I can tell you one thing: don't read if you're sensitive to certain heavy topic depictions such as rape, coercion, manipulation, etc. This story is by no means as lighthearted as the cover may make it seem
But the writing is hella good, the character development is developing, and the dynamic they have (as of the latest chapters) is pretty top-notch
BUT, the first season is a lot to take in, IMO this is a gem and one of my faves :3

This starts really dark. The ML is a complete monster for the first couple of chapters but very quickly falls in love and turns into the biggest puppy. His chasing arc is not half-assed at all. He genuinely tries to repent and works quite hard to earn the MC's favor.
I wish their story never ends and I get to read them for a long long time ( ◜‿◝ )♡
