I was hoping they were being sneaky about shiki cuz i really needed him and Akari to end up together. I think this is the most realistic yakuza manga I've ever read. Like there were real life-altering consequences for everyone involved even the protagonists. I feel like most yakuza romances just end up with the antagonists dead or defeated and the the "Good guys" make it out with barely a scratch. I really liked this
I wish they'd change her hair as Cecilia. I know its the "villainess" look but those front ringlets look so silly
I can't believe anyone could call her weak-minded as if she isn't morbidly depressed and grieving not only her relationship with shinpei but also the relationship she though she had with her father.... like their world wouldn't be as shattered as hers if all that stuff just happened to them. And ESPECIALLY with her circumstances???? A woman in that time period, a woman with her medical condition??? Get real. If I was her idk how I'd function at all. There's no way I wouldn't be spiraling from all that.
I couldn’t even make it to chapter 10. I can't handle how much these kids are getting hit/almost hit by the adults around them including their own dad: / Like what is WRONG with all the adults??? There's absolutely 0 sympathy shown towards these kids that literally just lost their mother. Poor takuya
Is it just me or is she like... kind of dumb? All she does is immediately believe what any one says to her as long as it falls in line with what she already believes (that the blonde guy is a total piece of shit). And like I know why she's suspicious of him but I thought she was supposed to be like a super sleuth or something. Maybe I'm only going off that last couple of chapters that updated and i don't remember everything thats happened anymore but her fact checking leaves a lot to be desired. Its like they have to dumb her down for the sake of plot.
Those kinds of art teachers are the fucking worst. I had a professor like that and I don't know how to explain that mindset other than "holier than thou" and think being bluntly honest is a positive personality trait when its really not caring about people's feelings. There's ways to say things without being a total prick about it.
I think some of these comments are pretty harsh. Like yeah this manga is a little silly but I don't know what else people expect honestly. Not every shoujo is gonna be that deep. Is it not enough to have a sweet story, cute likable characters and good art??? It also always makes me laugh when Mangas are ambiguously historical but have random modern things. Like where tf did she get the plastic for the boba tea lmao.
Man... the art used to be so beautiful for this webtoon. what happened to it?
I feel like she not going to remember this is the morning because she was drinking
Good God these translations are nearly incomprehensible
