i already suspected it but honestly the little brother is right hating his sister. she may not be a bad person but she's a chronic people pleaser and she already probably didn't defend him when their cousin was molesting him as a child (she looks like she knows what happened and still let him stay in their home as an adult) so if that's the kind of stance she's taken about the brother situation he's not wrong for thinking badly of her (imo)

i see your point and i guess what i meant to say isn't that they have chemistry but that they have potential chemistry... it isn't because they're both men but because they kinda have an enemies relationship (just from the detective's perspective, bcs the lawyer doesn't seem to really mind him). to me, a character that is just there and whose purpose is only being a victim (ex, the teacher in this story) isn't interesting, but that's only to me. if the detective was a woman I'd still think they have more potential than the lawyer and the teacher. i like the moments in which the teacher suspects the lawyers and questions his intentions but ultimately she's just being manipulated by him and it's being foreshadowed that she and the people around her are future victims of his (which i guess is the point in this story and if i don't like that i should simply stop reading)
malcolm seems strangely aware that he's in a bl comic... like normally if you're an acting major, acting is just your job to you, so a kiss wouldn't mean anything but he got nervous about matthew seeing luke kiss somebody else while acting, as if he was aware of the chaos that's about to come and the miscommunication trope that is currently developing
honestly i think the story is just badly written. the mother didn't want to let the dad see her death so she ran away but she knew the possibility of the kid going back to her dad so she just lets her go to a place where he could abuse her?? also, the blonde guy and the royal kid like her way too much in too short time, and i could understand her not acting like a child bcs of the regression and that, but the other kid?? he acts more like an adult than her and he's supposed to be younger. also, why are all the parents in the story so damn abusive for no reason?? even the blonde princess/queen whatever treats the brown haired kid badly. and, suddenly the story is too focused in the relationship between two literal kids... where's the plot??
the thing is, the father thinks the child isnt his. The mom was like "dragons can only have children with someone the truly love." then the mom tells that dad that she doesnt love him. So the dad is like "how the hell is this my child, when she said she doesnt love me?"
