You were not using that word with the negative connotation, were you? I'm tired of people blaming others for using terms as "loli" or "shota", who yes, are originally very nasty words, people don't really use it with that in mind, just as a way to refer to kids in anime form.
So as long as you use it in a way that's just that, lil anime kids, with no nsfw connotation, you are actually good to go imo.
No no i didn't used it anywhere....i was just trying to find yaoi mangas with gd looking mc's nd well i found a list with the title being shota bl manga nd i thought it was the list i was looking for, so i followed the list nd forgot abt it..Today i opened the list and read one manga nd it was not so gd thing...so i checked the list description and there it was....the meaning....boys from 3 to 18...it made me damn uncomfortable.....nd that being said my bottom line is low bt not that low

I really dislike this ml... He is always smiling and annoying like dude u admitted that u guys are nothing nd he even saw the mc heard that, than u wonder what mc wanted to say. Its like everything is a game to him. He is smiling even when mc is crying like don't u have any other expression on ur face, nd he never apologized
Well he did say that it's a way for him to evade awkward situations etc. It's like a default setting for him. I also smile whenever I feel awkward so I kinda understand him. He also had a twisted view on love and only understood what it meant when he ended their relationship with mc. Tbh not blaming him for not understanding love properly after his childhood and getting cheated on.(￣∇￣") a side character also told him that his laid back and nonchalantness was gone after they started dating again. Imo this is just the portrayal of a man figuring their feelings and trauma out ngl. ╥﹏╥
