I'm 100% sure Lysbett is acting with good intentions, but I think that her idea of what's good is something Sylhan would be against. Maybe she believes she's saving his life by destroying his memory, because what he knows would threaten the lord of Khalak, maybe she wants to protect her house and find Sylhan's memory loss a forgivable side effect.
Either way, while I don't think she wants to hurt Sylhan, she wouldn't do anything to free him from slavery. She wants him to act like a friend, get comfortable in his position, however unfair it might be.
