This manga doesn’t even have a romance tag wth. I really hope the author doesn’t do us like that.

Technically, if romance is not a focal point or key component of a novel or other written work, the author or publication company doesn't have to list it in the Romance genre.
I'm going to take this as a good sign, in that sure he'll have a girlfriend/wife by the end of the series, but it will never be a main focus at any point other than as a breather from all the action. To show that he is in fact human with human emotions.
I can deal with that. Moreover, she doesn't appear to be a character that would hold him back with all that "damsel in distress" nonsense.

Agreed~ I mean, if I wanted predominantly romance, I would have selected a romance comic. I'm hoping the author and company knows their audience well enough to understand this.
My only question is; does Derrick get pummeled to death??? Cause I would pay to see that.
