I’m thinking I might like this. I’m a sucker for the Mafia bad boy & Cop storylines. Speaking of….
Does anyone have any recs of Mafia/loan shark & Cop and or Mafia/loanshark & some kind of government official/good guy stories where the cop/govt official/good guy falls head over heels for the mafia/loan shark bad boy at the very beginning? Doesn’t matter if they’re already together when the story starts or they get together right in the beginning. Doesn’t matter if they know what the other does or not, though I do like it when the Cop/G.O./Good guy knows what Mafia/loan shark guy does but knows he’s a good guy or maybe just doesn’t care what he does. I think Darling For Dessert was one.
All the ones I’ve read recently are where the MC knows the ML is mafia or some kind of bad guy and he hates him or they both hate each other but then eventually fall in love after some very toxic situations…..like I’m assuming this story is about to be.
