off-topic to recent chapters but i absolutely adore how this author has really dynamic, diverse and interesting characters. i understand that the settings are in america— but regardless, it’s hard to find manhwas that depict realistic characters— people of color, of different weights, of different personalities that don’t just scream “useless background character”, etc.. it’s really refreshing
i hate it when we FINALLY have a top MC and a bottom ML and people still go around calling the TOP the ‘ML’ and the bottom the ‘MC’. DAWG GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, THE BOTTOM ISN’T ALWAYS GONNA BE THE MC. this is driving me MADDDD GODDDDDD
I 100% believe majority people using those terms dont even know what they represent or mean. It's better to just use top/bottom if people are just gonna associate mc = bottom, ml = top. Why go through the extra step of using mc/ml to be term appropriate and not reduce them to their roles, only to reduce them to their roles by association anyway.
Like I still see people refer to the top from Third Ending as the ml when he's the mc
RIGHTTTT. i understand that having the MC be the bottom in the relationship is so normalized because authors want to appeal to their audience more, therefore people usually correlate being a bottom with the term MC— but at the same time, it’s rlly not that hard and the concept of MC and ML is not complicated it’s seriously one of my biggest pet peeves, and it’s so consistently seen on this website.. as a vers myself i like representation in both “fonts” and seeing a top MC being called the ML gives me such a headache like ac
3some BL PLSPLSPLSPLS and not just ‘heh. two tops ravish one cutie bottom’ but like… three-way mutual attention, is that too much to ask!! send recommendations my way!
This one came to my mind so fast HAHAHA
