I think this is one of those stories I'll wait any amount of time for Fictional pretty boys will always be my weakness

Considering that she was originally adopted because she looked like his real sister... Just, come on, bro, stop it. Get some help.

I just can't, these two are such fine specimens... I can barely focus on the text bubbles when they're on-screen

Possibly my favourite BL couple of all time. God, these two are so crazy and sweet and stupid for each other. My standards for love have once again reached unattainable levels of delusion

I love Verdandi and his tragic magic gig, but maybe try falling in love with someone your own age next time, my guy, I'm sure it'll work out

Why do people hate the twink so much?? Tattoo guy is just as bad, if not worse, than the twink He's kinda prettier and more jacked, but that's it. Honestly, I hope Nanjo leaves both their asses for good, he deserves better But since that's obviously not gonna happen, I hope tattoo suffers wayyyyy more before any further progress.

I couldn't hold myself back from reading the raws, so I saw this coming XD and at first, I didn't know how to feel about the "a hard-core fan the whole time" reveal, but when you think about it, until now, Jaegyu had this gnawing fear that since Cheongrok didn't know anything about his public persona, he might grow to hate him in the future the more he's exposed to those rumors. But now that he's aware that Cheongrok actually has seen him through the highs and lows of his life and unconditionally been "on his side" the whole time, he has nothing to be afraid of anymore. Sure, it's weird to discover the love of your life has a secret body pillow of you, but it's also... weirdly flattering, so cheers to that. I love this story and the art so much, and I'm gonna cry about how short it is for a long while ╥﹏╥

The comments seem really divided about this one, and I think I can get over the whole pseudo-incest and love triangle thing as long as the plot and art are good, but does this have any dub-con or non-con? I generally avoid stories with that, so just checking first.

Idk, Guwon seemed to like Teach well enough before, being all blushy and cute and stuff, maybe he's just... kinda asexual or something? I mean, he's probably not even entirely human and he didn't even know about kissing until Teach "taught" him. An asexual character in yaoi is insane though, so I guess I doubt it.

On another note, beyond his tragic fate in the underworld, Sisyphus was known for defying death and his passion for life, which I guess is kinda reflected in Guwon's single-minded tenacity to keep his little town and community alive in a hopeless world. But according to popular interpretations of the story, the only real way to be free from a tragic situation (the apocalypse, in this case) is to realize there's no true escape from the course of fate and no meaning in hoping for something better, thereby accepting fate as it is. Maybe, that's what retrieving their memories (both Guwon and Jinwoo) is meant to signify?

Obviously, I'm over-analyzing a BL, but eh, it's fun. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

This is a very personal (probably not popular) opinion, but this wasn't... good. [The following review is hella long. You have been warned.]

.....

I don't have anything against tragic stories, and I definitely found myself crying in the middle while reading this, but it was only because the situation playing out was so... unnecessarily depressing. How did Jiang Wenxu become such a garbage person? What reason was there for him to cheat on and abuse He Zhishu in the first place? If the author wants us to go by his personality from high school, it's not in character how he turned out at all. Did he just become an entitled fucking bastard because the power went to his head? Why didn't they explore this further? It's like he was created purely to be detested, but even then, the author wouldn't stop trying to redeem him through the course of the story.

I get that in real life, cheaters, abusers, marital rapists and the like aren't going to have a tangible reason behind why they do such inhumane things. Sometimes, people go bad, but it wasn't properly characterised in this story. He should've then been made out to be a whole villain (with no sympathy from the author or readers—not that any readers seem to sympathize with him anyway) or somebody that realized how disgusting they had become and genuinely tried to better themselves—by understanding if he truly had any love for He Zhishu he should let him go, or working on anger management, coming clean to him, just realizing he wasn't obligated to a person's love when he himself wasn't faithful. But no, he went and hurt him, raped him (that's the part that made me cry so hard, who the fucking fuck does that to someone and then tells them to get over it the next day?) and still had the fucking gall to pretend their relationship could go back to what it used to be? Only a psychopath could do this kind of thing and brush it off as not a big deal every time.

No, this story seemed like it was made with nothing but the intent to make the reader despair, and... I don't think that's nice. The utter lack of hope that comes across: a seemingly star-crossed romance in youth can turn into something so painfully ugly; some people change for no reason and don't change back; it's impossible to escape our attachments to people who hurt us, even in death; and don't even get me started on the doctor—I don't understand how he fell in love with one of his patients like that in the first place (he sees just as much of him as he would his other patients in a professional setting, so what gives?), but his story was just... doomed from the beginning. Just a bunch of tragic components thrown together in an almost sadistic way. The only plus point to me was that He Zhishu seemed to be surrounded by people (more like one person and the sweetest pets) that loved him unconditionally when he finally passed.

I felt nothing but deeply sorry or pure hatred for these characters trapped in depressing circumstances, and I don't think that makes for a great story (I give it a... 2/5?). Well, that's just my opinion, and it took me a reeeally long rant to state it, so my bad, I guess. If you actually managed to read this till here... um, sorry?

The green-haired dude claimed he didn't know anything about the film industry in Korea or the actor guy's celebrity life, but he suddenly threatened the reporter with "lies" involving insider info from the actor guy's company, which is suspicious, especially for someone as paranoid as the actor guy who typically doesn't trust anyone. Since he really trusted the green-haired dude and believed he'd only ever been telling him the truth, this whole "bluffing" situation has him second-guessing both his objectives and feelings for him.

Even in the past, the actor guy has hyper-analysed and overreacted to the smallest things, like the green-haired dude's expressions or off-hand gestures, so it kind of makes sense he'd get in his own head and make questionable decisions like this, I guess.

A lot of so called "psychological" content romanticizes things that shouldn't be romanticized. This site isn't age restricted, and a lot of younger or less experienced readers CAN end up assuming some of the deplorable shit so many authors love to portray as romance is forgiveable when it's not.
