Idk, Guwon seemed to like Teach well enough before, being all blushy and cute and stuff, maybe he's just... kinda asexual or something? I mean, he's probably not even entirely human and he didn't even know about kissing until Teach "taught" him. An asexual character in yaoi is insane though, so I guess I doubt it.
On another note, beyond his tragic fate in the underworld, Sisyphus was known for defying death and his passion for life, which I guess is kinda reflected in Guwon's single-minded tenacity to keep his little town and community alive in a hopeless world. But according to popular interpretations of the story, the only real way to be free from a tragic situation (the apocalypse, in this case) is to realize there's no true escape from the course of fate and no meaning in hoping for something better, thereby accepting fate as it is. Maybe, that's what retrieving their memories (both Guwon and Jinwoo) is meant to signify?
