Lowkey confused whether if I had missed something about the brother because he just suddenly appeared to betray bayan.
I remember there were some panels where he seemed to have been clenching his fist when he was dealing with the corrupted official, talking about the super high tax rates. So I thought maybe the author just swept his motive under the rug with that being his main motive... idk I feel like he as a character could have been explored so much better.
On a side note, we kind of already do know he isn't great either. He was the hypocrite who drank Bayan's blood even after knowing it was her blood. And he was the next head (if i remember correctly) so he might have been pushed to do it because of that but still, what a waste of a good looking face, jerk :///
