wow, this story is fascinating. First, the art is so unique, with a gorgeous shading style that gets turned up to 11 in certain scenes. Then we've got the balance of mystery and the high-stakes plot. The proportion of deaths that happen kept me worried, in the good way. Also, some of these characters are so strange; one of them is an anthropomorphized dog and others can't feel pain or have fascinating motivations. It'll be hard to find another story like this one
