This could go in a really interesting direction. It seems like she's bothered by being seen as a boy. But the examples that went through the sex change appear to switch gender as well. It would be interesting if the story has takes a nuanced path on gender and sexuality and the impact sex has on it. But I wager it'll just be boring and she'll realize she's also changed gender into a boy and is into women and uninterested in men.
